Skilled Machine Operator – Barnsley Town Centre

A highly established manufacturing company based in the heart of Barnsley town centre, is looking for a Skilled Machine Operator to join their busy and friendly team. This is a long-term opportunity offering full training across all areas of the factory, ideal for someone wanting to build a career and expand their skillset.

Pay & Hours:

• £13.37 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating shifts: 6am – 2pm and 1:30pm – 9:45pm

Main Duties:

• Operating machinery such as roller press machines, manual press machines, LC machines, and Kiss-Cut machines
• Replenishing and feeding materials onto various machines
• Quality checking finished parts
• Counting completed goods and filling out production paperwork
• Carrying out additional duties as required

Skills Required:

• Experience in machine operating or a similar role
• Positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and willingness to learn
• Ability to work with various production equipment
• Capable of meeting targets and working to deadlines
