Shift Supervisor

Location: DN8, Doncaster

Salary: £35,500 per annum

Hours: Rotating shifts of Days and Afters / Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and motivating a team of 6–8 warehouse operatives.
• Managing daily warehouse activities to ensure productivity and service targets are achieved.
• Conducting team briefings and allocating workloads across shifts.
• Monitoring employee performance, attendance and adherence to site procedures.
• Supporting training, inductions and development of new starters.
• Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Working closely with the Operations Manager to drive continuous improvements.
• Investigating and resolving operational issues quickly and effectively.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, accuracy and customer service.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous supervisory or team leader experience within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong people management and communication skills.
• Able to work rotating shifts.
• Experience dealing with KPIs and operational targets.
• A hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
