Logistics and Sales Support

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

Salary: £27,500 per annum

Location: Barnby Moor, near Retford

Contract Type: Permanent

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are currently looking to recruit Logistics and Sales Support to join a manufacturer near Retford on a permanent basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Capture of sales orders and their accurate translation to confirmed order receipt, acknowledgement and transfer to our goods out warehouse.
• Dealing with a multiple and varied amount of customer enquiries with rigorous follow through and resolution.
• Constant, real time interaction with our logistics partners and their own IT systems, to arrange deliveries and progress, chase the final leg of the goods journey to customers.
• Provide holiday and absence cover for other administration tasks in the sales office department.

Experience and Skills:

Essential Skills Required:

• You like to work in a team.
• Good communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good level of numeracy and proficient using Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Desirable Skills Required:

• Industry experience in a sales or customer service role will be an advantage.
• Previous use of a company database system would be useful.
