A company in the Hellaby area of Rotherham, who are experiencing ongoing continuous growth worldwide and distribute a number of different retail products, are looking to recruit Rework Operatives to join the team. This role would be a perfect opportunity for an individual looking for an ongoing career.

As a Rework Operative you will be unboxing, counting and reworking stock and reporting any discrepancies. We’re keen to speak to candidates with previous warehouse or quality checking experience. If you are currently working as a Warehouse Operative or Quality Checker please get in touch!

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday / 8am – 4.30pm
• Friday / 7.30am – 12.30pm

Pay Rate:

• £12.71 per hour

Main duties of a Rework Operative:

• Unboxing and quality checking of goods
• Counting of units and re-labelling of stock
• Reworking and put away of stock into correct location
• Amending any last minute changes to orders and ensuring the correct labels are matched
• Recording of findings & reporting of any discrepancies
• Manual handling involved lifting of large boxes
• Preparation of placed orders (i.e. labelling, packing, palletising)
• Assisting within the warehouse, including loading & unloading, order picking and stock put away
• Other general duties, as and when required

Skills Required:

• Candidate must be physically fit due to nature of the role
• Must feel comfortable with repetitive duties
• Previous warehouse / quality checking experience would be essential
• Must have own transport or live local to the area
• Candidate must be flexible around daily work routines due to changes in demand of departments
