• £52,000 basic salary (£20.00 per hour)

Call-Out Package

• 1-in-7 call-out rota
• £100 standby payment per day
• Minimum 4 hours paid at double time if called out
• Paid rest day provided following disruptive overnight call-outs

 

The Role

As a Refrigeration Engineer, you’ll work across a variety of customer sites throughout the UK, carrying out:

• Planned preventative maintenance
• Service, breakdown and repair work
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding
• Equipment inspections and performance checks
• Completing service documentation and reports
• Participating in the on-call rota

This is a field-based role, and regular travel will be required.

 

What We’re Looking For in a Refrigeration Engineer:

Essential

• F-Gas Category 1 Certification
• Level 3 Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering qualification
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience working on commercial or industrial refrigeration systems
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

Desirable

• Ammonia refrigeration experience
• Food manufacturing, cold storage or supermarket refrigeration background
• Based within approximately 45 minutes of Lincoln
