Reach Forklift Driver, Burton on Trent

Immediate start available at a a well-known logistics company!

Due to growth and expansion a local logistics company are opening a new site and seeking Forklift Reach Drivers to join them on a temporary to permanent basis (multiple positions available!).

In this role you will be loading, unloading and moving stock around the warehouse with a Forklift Reach Truck. Although this is a Forklift Driver role, you will not be on the forklift for the whole duration of the shift, and will need to assist with general Warehouse Operative duties and order picking when needed.

We are ideally seeking a Forklift Reach Driver with 1-2 years experience in a similar forklift role however full training is provided. You will need a forklift reach licence (in house licenses accepted).

Rates of Pay:

• £13.46 per hour

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday, 6am – 3pm or 9am – 6pm (both static shifts are available)

Duties of the Forklift Reach Driver position include:

• Operating reach forklift trucks
• Locating and moving stock around the warehouse
• Loading and unloading
• Manual handling – some heavy lifting
• General warehouse duties and picking when needed
• General housekeeping duties
• Please note, you will not be on the reach truck all day

Skills Required for this Reach Forklift Driver position:

• A Reach license is essential for the role – in house licenses accepted
• Ideally, 1 – 2 years’ experience working within a similar Forklift Driver role is desirable however full training will be provided
