Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver (Afternoons), Swadlincote

We’re recruiting for an international organisation who supply the end-to-end supply chain from materials, manufacturing and distribution.

Due to a continued increase in business, they now have a requirement for a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver to join an expanding team on an ongoing (long term) basis. The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar forklift role, ability to work within a small team and be ok with lifting.

• Static shifts (2pm-10.30pm)

Pay rate: £13.60 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday 2pm – 10.30pm

Duties of a Reach Forklift Driver:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
• Moving stock around the warehouse
• Removing labels from pallets
• Inspecting and sorting packaging for quality
• Sorting and grading packaging according to suitability
• Recording appropriate paperwork
• Recording daily checks as required
• Performing general housekeeping, maintenance and sundry manual duties
• Complying with site safety rules and Health & Safety

Skills Required:

• Previous experience in similar forklift role
• Counterbalance Forklift Truck experience is essential
