Quality Control Operative – Sand Hutton, York
A leading international developer and manufacturer of high quality and effective rapid tests are looking for a Quality Control (QC) Operative to join their ever-expanding team on a temporary basis.
As a Quality Control Operative you will be performing quality checks on goods once they are part processed and then again once finished, reporting any defects and updating their inspection results.
We’re really keen to hear from you if you have previously worked as a Quality Control Operative or a similar role within a quality control environment.
Main duties of a Quality Control Operative include:
- Performing quality checks on part processed and finished goods against set specifications
- Filling out paperwork and updating inspection results
- Reporting any defects
- Maintaining documentation
The ideal candidate:
- Experience working within a Quality Control environment
- Happy working with computers/filling out paperwork
- Previous experience working within small tolerances/following production specifications
About the role:
- £13.59 per hour
- 37.5 hours per week with paid breaks
- Monday to Friday, 9am- 5pm
- As part of this role, you will be wearing full PPE including a hair net and white jacket
- Temporary contract
