Quality Checker, Hellaby Rotherham

A wholesaler based in the Hellaby area of Rotherham, who distribute a number of different retail products, are experiencing ongoing continuous growth worldwide and looking to expand their team with a Quality Checker.

As a Quality Checker you will be unboxing and quality checking goods, counting units of stock, relabelling, reporting discrepancies and putting stock away into correct locations.

We’re keen to speak to candidates with experience in a Quality Checker, Quality Control, Quality Inspector or similar Warehouse Operative role that includes quality checking and stock counting.

 

Pay Rate:

• £12.71 per hour

 

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday / 8am – 4.30pm
• Fridays / 8am – 2.30pm

 

Contract:

• Temporary ongoing

 

Duties of a Quality Checker:

• Unboxing and quality checking of goods
• Counting of units and re-labelling of stock
• Reworking and put away of stock into correct location
• Amending any last minute changes to orders and ensuring the correct labels are matched
• Recording of findings & reporting of any discrepancies
• Manual handling involved lifting of large boxes
• Preparation of placed orders (i.e. labelling, packing, palletising)
• Assisting within the warehouse, including loading & unloading, order picking and stock put away
• Other general duties, as and when required

 

Requirements of a Quality Checker:

• Candidate must be physically fit due to nature of the role
• Must feel comfortable with repetitive duties
• Previous warehouse / quality checking experience would be essential
• Must have own transport or live local to the area
• Candidate must be flexible around daily work routines due to changes in demand of departments
