Working Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday / 08:30 – 16:00 Friday (39 hours per week)

 

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Project Engineer to join our client’s growing team.

This role is ideally suited to someone with experience in engineering project delivery, particularly within water systems, drilling, construction, civil or mechanical environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the planning, coordination and delivery of technical engineering projects relating to water systems and associated infrastructure
  • Support mobilisation activities, including site preparation, logistics and documentation
  • Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression
  • Monitor project performance against technical, quality and compliance standards
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing RAMS, quality documentation and technical reports
  • Produce engineering reports and support data analysis where required
  • Use scheduling and project planning software to track progress and maintain accurate programmes
  • Assist with commissioning, verification and the final handover of completed works
  • Take part in project reviews to help drive continuous improvement initiatives

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an engineering environment such as drilling, construction, civil or mechanical projects (desirable)
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong communication, planning and coordination skills
  • Understanding of site activities, safety standards and operational processes
  • Competent using Microsoft Office and project planning tools
  • Knowledge of water infrastructure, subsurface systems or pumping installations is beneficial
  • Willingness to develop further through ongoing training and upskilling opportunities
