Job Advert: Team Leader (Temp to Perm)

Location: Somercotes, DE55 4NN

Contract Type: Temp to Perm

Salary: £32,500 annually, plus shift allowance (paid weekly for the first 12 weeks while on agency)

Shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights)

We are seeking a Team Leader to join an expanding production team at their DE55 4NN site. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and fast-growing company that has been a leader in sauces and seasonings manufacturing for over 100 years.

As a Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for the smooth running of the production process and ensuring high standards are met across all shifts. While food experience is not required, we’re looking for someone with solid supervisor experience in a production environment. You’ll work directly with the team on the production floor, reporting any issues to management and ensuring everything operates efficiently and safely. This is a hands-on leadership role – no office-based work here!

What you’ll do:

• Supervise and support production staff across multiple shifts
• Ensure smooth running of the production line and meet operational targets
• Report any issues or improvements to management
• Lead by example, encouraging a positive and productive team environment
• Monitor health, safety, and quality standards within the production process

What we’re looking for:

• Previous supervisory experience in a production environment
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Flexibility to work on both day and night shifts
