Production Supervisor – Potting Area, Monk Bretton Barnsley

Salary: £34,500 per annum

Shifts: Rotating Weekly Shifts | 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm

 

The Role

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to lead operations within the potting department on a permanent basis.

You will be overseeing the production of products into pots and trays while ensuring quality, efficiency and process compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate production activities within the potting area.
  • Manage a team of production operatives.
  • Ensure products are weighed, filled and packed accurately.
  • Maintain production paperwork and operational records.
  • Monitor and maintain process controls and production standards.
  • Drive efficiency and productivity within the department.
  • Ensure quality standards and customer requirements are met.
  • Support training and development of team members.
  • Promote a safe and organised working environment.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous production supervisory experience.
  • Strong people management and team leadership skills.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing, production or processing environment.
  • Ability to manage paperwork, production records and process controls.
  • Focused on quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.
