Production Operative

Hours: Monday – Friday / Days, Nights and Afters / 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6am / Rotating shifts

Salary: Starting at £31,000 per annum / Inclusive of shift uplift

Location: Chesterfield

Contract Type: Permanent

We are currently looking to recruit for a Production Operative based in Chesterfield.

Plenty of overtime is always available outside the Monday to Friday shift pattern.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery according to safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Monitor machine operations to detect problems and ensure quality production
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
• Record and report any issues or defects to supervisors promptly
• Work with a high attention to detail to ensure all processes and machinery is running to each job tolerance

Experience and Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Good physical condition as some lifting could be required
• Willingness to work in shifts and overtime when required
• Familiarity with industrial machinery and equipment
• Basic mechanical skills and understanding of production procedures
• Experience in a similar role is preferred
