Production Operatives (Christmas Work)

Looking to earn some extra cash before Christmas? Due to continued expansion, we’re recruiting experienced Production Operatives to join a friendly and growing team based in Carlton, Barnsley. This is an exciting opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals who are not afraid to get stuck in! Multiple shifts available – flexible to fit around you.

Available Shifts:

• Days: Monday to Sunday, 6am – 2pm (£13.13 per hour) / Enhanced payment week 18^th to 24^th December at £18.50ph
• Afters: Monday to Sunday, 2pm – 10pm (£13.83 per hour) / Enhanced payment week 18^th to 24^th December at £19.20ph
• Nights: Monday to Sunday, 10pm – 6am (£14.53 per hour) / Enhanced payment week 18^th to 24^th December at £19.90ph

Potential earnings:

• Days: If you start now potential to earn from £4,431.37 to £5,238 before tax (based on 37.5 hours working week)
• Afters: If you start now potential to earn from £4,667.62 to £6,206 before tax (based on 37.5 hours working week)
• Nights: If you start now potential to earn from £4,903 to £6,502 before tax (based on 37.5 hours working week)

Main Duties:

• Stacking pallets safely and securely
• Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness within the production area
• Manual handling duties including re-working pallets
• Working on a production line ensuring all pallets and equipment are cleaned to high standards
• Quality checking stock before despatch
• Loading and unloading stock from wagons
• General upkeep and tidiness of the working environment

Skills & Experience Required:

• Physically fit and able to carry out manual work
• Experience in a warehouse or production role preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, reliable and hardworking attitude
