Production Operatives, Burton on Trent

Due to continued growth and expansion, a local Burton on Trent manufacturer are currently looking to recruit a number of Production Operatives to join their expanding team on a temporary ongoing basis.

In this role you will be performing general Production Operative duties on a production line, including weighing and handling the product, which can be up to 25kg.

We are keen to speak to candidates with experience in a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative or similar production environment role.

Daily Tasks of a Production Operative:

• Weighing of products
• Ensure working environments are kept clean and tidy
• General production duties
• Manual handling products up to 25kg
• Shrink wrapping pallet
• General line duties

Requirements of a Production Operative:

• Working in a fast paced environment before is advantageous
• Must be ok with lifting up to 25kg
• Previous production experience is needed in a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative or similar role
• Manual handling
• Must be okay with potential overtime in peak periods

Hours of work and pay:

• Day shift – £12.71 + per hour with overtime and bonuses
• Monday to Thursday, 6am – 4pm
• Friday, 6am – 2pm
• Static shifts, no rotating!
