Production Operative – Worksop

Brand new roles with an employee-owned business! Essential Recruitment are working in partnership with a local company that is expanding and looking for experienced production operatives to join their growing workforce. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable production operative seeking long-term stability and career progression.

Main duties:

• Always follow health and safety rules, including wearing the correct PPE
• Follow instructions, product specifications and documents related to the moulding process
• Open moulds, remove finished products, set up new moulds and close them correctly
• Use jigs to handle and trim products to the required standard
• Operate ovens used in the moulding process
• Locate and use the necessary raw materials for moulding
• Maintain high standards of quality during moulding, finishing and storage
• Keep the work area and factory clean, tidy and safe
• Complete any paperwork required during the moulding process
• Communicate key information to managers, team leaders and co-workers
• Train or support other staff in moulding processes when required
• Assist other team members during downtime to keep tasks on schedule

Experience required:

• Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial
• Reliable work history with strong work ethic and desire for long-term employment

Hours and pay:

• Monday to Friday – rotating shifts: 5:45am–2:00pm, 1:15pm–10:00pm and 9:45pm–6:00am
• Friday shift: 1:45pm–8:00pm
• Salary: £26,130 per year (equivalent to £13.40 per hour)
