Production Operative – Rotating Shifts – Rotherham, S60

We are currently recruiting for experienced Production Operatives to join a local company in Rotherham due to continued expansion. This is a hands-on role for individuals who are not afraid of getting stuck in and want to be part of a friendly, growing team. Long-term contracts are available for the right candidate.

Details:

• Monday to Friday shifts, rotating (6am – 2pm & 2pm – 10pm)
• £26,984 per annum (based on a 37.5-hour working week)
• Long-term contracts available for the right candidate

Duties include:

• Stacking plastic sheets safely
• Maintaining general hygiene and cleaning
• Manual handling duties such as re-working pallets
• Working on a production line, ensuring plastic sheets and equipment are cleaned to the highest standards
• Quality checking stock before despatch
• Loading and unloading stock from wagons
• General upkeep of the production environment

Skills required:

• Physically fit due to the demanding nature of the role
• FLT Counterbalance licence essential
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience within a similar production environment
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
