Production Operative, Sheffield

We’re recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing business in the Sheffield area on a permanent contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and proactive Production Operative who enjoys working as part of a team and isn’t afraid to get stuck in.

As a Production Operative, you’ll be involved in the full production process, from receiving raw materials through to filling, packing, palletising and preparing products for distribution.

If you have any prior experience within a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Warehouse Operative or similar role this would be advantageous, however if you’re looking for a long-term Production Operative opportunity with training and development, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Production Operative, your duties may include:

• Working on a fast-paced production line
• Feeding bottles and materials onto the line
• Carrying out quality checks
• Checking batch numbers and traceability information
• Palletising products ready for dispatch
• Supporting goods-in activities
• Moving materials around the site
• Following production recipes and instructions
• Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping standards
• Monitoring production lines and reporting issues
• Working safely and following food hygiene procedures

This Production Operative role is active and physical, involving regular walking, standing and movement throughout the shift.

Previous experience in a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Warehouse Operative or similar role would be advantageous, but training will be provided for the right person.
