Production Operative, Retford

Are you an experienced Production Operative looking for a long term role?

We are currently recruiting on behalf of Trelleborg who are looking for Production Operatives to join their expanding team on a temporary to permanent basis, with chances for career progression within the company.

In this role, you’ll be involved in the whole production process to create the finished product, from setting up the moulds to trimming and inspecting the finished product.

Any previous experience in a Production Operative role or a moulding, quality control, or production environment is advantageous.

A factory walkaround will available prior to the start date, giving you the opportunity to see the role and environment before starting.

Pay Rate:

• £13.46 per hour – Days
• £14.74 per hour – Afters & Nights

Hours:

• 39 hours per week
• Rotating weekly shifts: Days / Afters / Nights

Contract:

• Temporary to permanent

Key Responsibilities of a Production Operative:

• Casting of products
• Pressing of rubber products
• Component preparation for finished products
• Secondary operations for products
• Quality checks of components and finished products
• Recording of production & Quality results

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in moulding, quality control, or production is advantageous
• Comfortable working in a hot, industrial environment
• Willing to work in a hands-on role that may involve dirtier conditions
• Flexible and happy to undertake a variety of tasks
• Looking for long-term employment with opportunities to progress
