Production Operatives Needed – Retford
Factory Walkaround Available Prior to Start Date 

Due to exceptional growth at one of our valued clients in Retford, we are currently recruiting 4 Production Operatives to join their expanding team. A factory walkaround will be held next week, giving you the opportunity to see the role and environment before starting – apply now to secure your place.

 

Hours & Pay:

  • £13.46 per hour – Days
  • £14.74 per hour – Afters & Nights
  • 39 hours per week
  • Rotating weekly shifts: Days / Afters / Nights

 

Key Responsibilities:
Working within a busy factory environment, duties will include a variety of production tasks involved in creating the finished product:

  • Moulding and sanding rubber components
  • Carrying out quality checks, including visual inspections and hardness testing using handheld tools
  • Recording quality data accurately on computer systems
  • Weighing products using scales
  • Trimming rubber using scalpels
  • Setting up moulds for production
  • Mixing chemicals manually
  • General housekeeping, including sweeping and maintaining a clean workspace
  • Heavy lifting
  • Supporting other departments with assembly and additional production duties
  • Working in warm and sometimes dirty conditions, particularly around ovens

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience in moulding, quality control, or production is advantageous
  • Comfortable working in a hot, industrial environment
  • Willing to work in a hands-on role that may involve dirtier conditions
