Production Operative (Nights), Carlton Barnsley

Due to continued expansion we are looking for experienced Production Operatives who are not afraid of getting stuck in – you’ll be joining a friendly, growing team based in the Carlton area of Barnsley.

As a Production Operative you will be assisting on the production line, ensuring pallets are cleaned to high standards, stacking pallets safely and securely, re-working pallets and loading/unloading pallets onto/from the back of wagons.

We are keen to speak with candidates with experience in a similar environment within a Production Operative, General Operative, Yard Operative or similar position.

Hours / Pay:

• Sunday to Thursday, 10pm – 6am
• £15.06 per hour

Duties of a Production Operative include:

• Stacking of pallets safely and secure
• General hygiene and cleaning
• Manual handling duties such as re-working pallets
• Working on a production line ensuring pallets and working equipment are cleaned to the highest of standards
• Loading and unloading from the back of waggons
• General upkeep of production environment

Skills required of a Production Operative:

• You must be able to work effectively under your initiative and be able to work under pressure ensuring deadlines are met
• Keen eye for detail and ensuring the quality of work produced is of the highest standard
• We are looking for strong team players who are hardworking and dedicated
• Previous physically demanding duties
• Experience within a similar environment
