Production Operative, Loughborough

We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing environment working on rotating or static shifts, based in Loughborough.

 

Hours and pay: 

Rotating Shifts:

  • Monday to Thursday 
    • Days: 6am – 6pm
    • Nights: 6pm – 6am
    • £12.71 per hour
  • Friday to Sunday 
    • Days: 6am – 6pm
    • Nights: 6pm – 6am
    • £16.95 per hour

OR

  • Static Shifts
    • Monday to Friday (your choice of 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am)
    • £12.71 per hour (salary £39,655.20 per annum)

 

Key Responsibilities of a Production Operative:
  • Manual handling of plastic components and raw materials
  • Operating production machinery
  • Running extrusion machinery and conveyor belts (full training provided)
  • Using counterbalance forklift trucks (training available if you do not currently hold a valid or refreshed licence)
  • Following all health and safety procedures
  • Completing relevant paperwork and production records
  • Carrying out additional duties as required

 

Skills Required of a Production Operative:
  • Previous experience in a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Machine Operator or similar role is beneficial but not essential
  • Willingness to learn and undertake training
  • Good attention to detail
  • Reliable and able to work rotating shifts
