Production Operative, Loughborough

We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing environment working rotating day and night shifts based in Loughborough.

 

Rotating Shifts: Monday to Thursday / Friday to Sunday

• Days: 6:00am – 6:00pm
• Nights: 6:00pm – 6:00am

 

Pay Rate:

• £12.71 – £16.95 per hour

 

Key Responsibilities of a Production Operative:

• Manual handling of plastic components and raw materials
• Operating production machinery
• Running extrusion machinery and conveyor belts (full training provided)
• Using counterbalance forklift trucks (training available if you do not currently hold a valid or refreshed licence)
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Completing relevant paperwork and production records
• Carrying out additional duties as required

 

Skills Required of a Production Operative:

• Previous experience in a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Machine Operator or similar role is beneficial but not essential
• Willingness to learn and undertake training
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and able to work rotating shifts
