Production Operative, Matlock

An equipment supplier in Matlock are expanding their production team, seeking a Production Operative to join them on a temporary ongoing basis, with potential for permanent employment in the future.

You’ll experience on the job training in this varied role, supporting the entire production line process, from weighing to quality checking finished product.

The site is located in Brassington, so your own transport will be required. Any experience as Production Operative in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday, rota based
• 6:00am – 14:30pm / 14:00pm – 22:30pm
• Rotating shifts

Pay:

• £12.71 per hour – Days
• £14.26 per hour – Afters

Duties:

• As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out production line tasks, such as weighing, packaging, and labelling products, operating machinery, and performing quality checks
• You will follow standard operating procedures to ensure the efficient and safe production of goods

Experience:

• Due to site location (Brassington, Derbyshire), own transport is required.
• Applicants must be available to work on a shift rotation basis, days & afternoons
• Counterbalance Forklift Licence would be highly desirable.
• Due to some aspects of the role, you will be required to lift completed bags and stack pallets by hand.
• Prior Production Operative experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
