Production Operative, Brassington

If you answered YES – we are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Production Operative to join a manufacturer of ball clay and talc products in Brassington. Established for 150 years, we are looking for a candidate to join the team immediately, and long term work is potentially available. If you have a FLT licence or previous experience we would be interested in hearing from you.

Due to the remote location you will require your own transport in order to be considered for the role.

Hours of work:

• 4x 12 hour shifts, Monday to Thursday 6pm – 6am (all breaks paid)
• PLEASE NOTE: During training (usually 4 weeks) you will be working on the day shift (Monday to Friday, 6.30am – 5pm or Monday to Thursday 7am – 5.30pm / Friday 6.30am – 5pm) which is paid at £14.04 per hour

Hourly Rate;

• £14.04ph during training (usually 4 weeks)
• Thereafter, £15.89ph – further increases are available with training and upskilling

Your duties will include:

• Bagging products and operating machinery
• Machine minding
• Operating FLT
• Manual handling, up to 25kg bags of products
• Palletising and completing quality checks
