Production Operative, Atherstone

Due to continued growth and expansion, a fabrication company are currently looking to recruit 5 Production Operatives to join their expanding team on a temporary ongoing basis, at their site in Atherstone.

In this Production Operative role you will be operating various production line equipment, feeding raw materials into the machinery, assembling the goods on the production line, quality checking finished goods and packing them for dispatch.

If you have experience in a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Production Line Packer, Machine Operator, Factory Operative or similar role in a production environment this would be desirable, but not essential.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday: 8am – 4.30pm

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour + overtime payments

Daily Tasks of a Production Operative:

• Working in the warehouse and outside
• Measuring, grading and feeding batches of raw materials into production machinery
• Operating production line equipment
• Assembling goods on a production line
• Manual handling and heavy lifting
• Quality checking finished products
• Packing goods ready for shipment
• Ensure working environments are kept clean and tidy
• General production duties

Skills required of a Production Operative:

• Previous experience within production environments is preferred but not essential
• Must be able to drive and have transport due to location
• Have basic levels of numeracy and literacy
