Production Foreman
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am – 17:30pm
Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE

Due to continued growth and expansion we are currently looking to recruit an Production Foreman to join our business in Barnsley on a permanent basis. This role will suit a candidate who has a strong presence and leadership skills. It could suit someone with an ex-forces background.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate and manage production teams on a day-to-day basis.
- Ensure production schedules and targets are achieved efficiently.
- Monitor performance, productivity and key operational KPIs.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and housekeeping.
- Investigate and resolve production, quality and safety issues.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimise downtime.
- Drive continuous improvement across people, processes and production output.
- Complete production reporting and operational documentation.
Experience and Skills:
Essential:
- Minimum 3 years’ supervisory or management experience within manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments.
- Experience working in metal processing, fabrication, casting, steel, foundry or similar heavy industry.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage different personalities.
- Confident decision-maker who performs well under pressure.
- Experience working with production data, KPIs and reporting.
- Good IT skills, including Excel.
- Experience with mills, presses, metal casting or similar manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
