Due to continued growth and expansion, a local manufacturer is recruiting Production Operatives with forklift experience to join their expanding team on a permanent basis.
In this Production Operative and Forklift Driver role you will be weighing and manual handling products, performing general production duties, driving a counterbalance forklift truck and shrink wrapping pallets.
We’re seeking someone with previous experience within a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative or Factory Operative role within a fast paced environment. In house and external licences are accepted.

Daily Tasks of a Production Operative and Forklift Driver:
- Weighing of products
- Ensure working environments are kept clean and tidy
- General production and production line duties
- Manual handling products up to 25kg
- Driving a forklift truck
- Shrink wrapping pallet
Requirements of a Production Operative and Forklift Driver:
- Working in a fast paced environment before is advantageous
- Must be ok with lifting up to 25kg
- In house or external Counterbalance license
- Previous production experience is needed
- Manual handling
Hours of work and pay:
- £12.71 per hour (bonuses available too)
- Monday to Thursday: 6am – 4pm / Friday: 6am – 2pm
- Must be okay with overtime in peak periods
