PPT Driver – South Normanton

 

We’re recruiting experienced PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) Drivers to join a busy local warehouse. No licence is required, but you must have experience operating PPT’s. We’re looking for reliable candidates with a strong work history, ideally gained within a warehouse operative, production operative, factory operative, manufacturing operative or logistics environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop new skills and gain a recognised warehouse qualification while building a long-term career. If you’re hardworking, eager to learn and looking to progress within the warehousing and distribution sector, we’d love to hear from you.

 

Shift Options:

Rotating Days & Afters

  • Monday to Friday
  • 6:00am – 2:00pm / 2:00pm – 10:00pm

OR

Fixed Afters

  • Monday to Friday
  • 2:00pm – 10:00pm

OR

Fixed Nights

  • Sunday to Thursday
  • 10:00pm – 6:00am

 

Pay Rates:
  • Days: £12.96 per hour
  • Afters: £14.90 per hour
  • Nights: £17.28 per hour

 

Duties of a PPT Driver and Warehouse Operative:
  • Training to operate PPT trucks safely and efficiently
  • Moving stock throughout the warehouse
  • Loading and unloading goods
  • Supporting general warehouse duties as required

 

Requirements of a PPT Driver and Warehouse Operative:
  • Strong work history, ideally within a warehouse operative, production operative, factory operative, manufacturing operative or logistics environment.
  • PPT experience
