Potato Grader, Worksop

Are you happy to work outside in all weather conditions?

A local family run farm are recruiting Potato Graders to join their team in Blyth, Worksop, with immediate starts available for the right candidate.

As a Potato Grader you’ll be grading potatoes by checking for any damages after they’ve been washed. In this role you’ll also separate potatoes by size, pack potatoes, and lift and stack bags/boxes of potatoes onto pallets – this does include lifting up to 20kg.

This is a great opportunity for those looking for outdoor work within the agricultural sector, with permanent contract opportunities on offer. Experience is not essential however this role would suit candidates with experience in farming, agriculture, harvesting or outdoor manual roles.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:30am – 2:30pm
• 25 – 30 hours per week

Pay Rate:

• £12.71 per hour

Contract:

• Temp to perm

Duties of a Potato Grader:

• Grading potatoes – checking through washed potatoes for any damage.
• Separating potatoes into different sizes
• Includes all tasks involved with the grading and packing of potatoes
• Lifting and stacking bags ( up to 20kgs) and boxes (up to 15kgs) onto pallets
• Keeping a clean and tidy working environment
