Pet Cremator and Van Driver, Doncaster

We are recruiting for a Pet Cremator / Van Driver in the Doncaster, DN6 area.

Due to the sensitive nature of this role, we’re looking for a compassionate and empathetic individual. You will be entrusted with the care of beloved family pets, so treating every animal with dignity, respect, and professionalism is essential.

As part of this role you will be collecting pets for cremation, driving to and from local vets, so a driving licence will be required.

Pay Rate:

• £13.15 per hour

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 6am – 3pm and 11am – 8pm
• Whilst training the hours will be 6am-3pm
• 45 hours per week

Main duties of this Cremator and Van Driver role include:

• Loading and unloading of cremations into the company van
• Putting deceased animals into bags
• Putting pets through the cremation process
• Van driving is involved as part of this role when travelling to and from local vets
• Labelling and cleaning of the workplace

The ideal candidate for this Cremator and Van Driver role:

• Candidates must be compassionate due to the delicate nature of the role
• Manual handling will be involved as part of this role so must be happy heavy lifting
• Must be happy using computers and checking barcodes
• Driving licence required for this role
