Permanent Recruitment Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Permanent Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team. Based in Chesterfield with a flexible hybrid working model, this role is ideal for a driven recruiter who enjoys building long-term client partnerships, sourcing high-quality talent, and generating revenue through permanent placements.

This is a true 360 recruitment role where you will take ownership of your desk, develop new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and deliver exceptional recruitment solutions across the permanent market.

Salary:

• Up to £31,000 DOE With a realistic earning potential of £50,000+. Apply to find out more about our commission structure, earning potential, and ongoing career progression opportunities within the business.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm – although we can offer flexibility on working hours for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities of a Permanent Recruitment Consultant:

• Managing the full permanent recruitment lifecycle from vacancy brief through to successful placement.
• Developing and growing a portfolio of client accounts.
• Generating new business opportunities through proactive sales activity and networking.
• Building strong relationships with hiring managers and decision-makers.
• Sourcing, interviewing, and qualifying candidates for permanent opportunities.
• Managing multiple vacancies across a variety of sectors and skill sets.
• Negotiating offers and supporting candidates and clients throughout the onboarding process.
• Maintaining a strong pipeline of candidates and vacancies.
• Achieving and exceeding individual revenue and placement targets.
• Delivering an exceptional level of service to both clients and candidates.

About You:

We’re looking to speak to anyone from a recruitment background – that may mean you’ve worked as an internal resourcer, managed recruitment for your department / business or something else with transferable skills. We’re happy to speak to any interested candidates that feel this role is for them.

Ideally, we’re looking for:

• Recruitment experience – in house, temp, or perm.
• Strong track record of billing and achieving targets (desirable,not essential)
• Confident in business development and winning new client accounts. (desirable,not essential)
• Excellent relationship-building and consultative sales skills.
• Commercially minded with a results-driven approach.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously within a hybrid environment.
