Parts Advisor, Cubley Ashbourne

 

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:30pm

Pay Rate: £28,300 per annum + generous bonus scheme

 

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are currently looking to recruit a Parts Advisor to join our client based in Cubley, Ashbourne on a permanent basis.

In this role, you will be managing customer enquiries at the trade counter and over the phone, processing orders, maintaining stock levels and coordinating deliveries.

We are looking for an organised and customer-focused individual with previous experience within a Parts Department and a passion for delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities of a Parts Advisor:
  • Handling customer enquiries over the phone and at the trade counter
  • Processing parts orders and sourcing components through the company’s online catalogue
  • Managing and maintaining stock levels
  • Coordinating parts deliveries with the service department
  • Supporting engineers working on customer sites across the UK
  • Ensuring excellent customer service at every stage of the process
  • Working closely with colleagues to deliver an efficient and professional parts service

 

Experience and Skills of a successful Parts Advisor:
  • Previous experience within a Parts Department
  • Plant machinery parts experience would be advantageous
  • Experience within automotive, agricultural, construction equipment, HGV or other mechanical industries would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Organised with good stock management awareness
  • Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Able to work independently and use your own initiative
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Understanding of stock control and parts obsolescence would be advantageous
