Parts Advisor, Altrincham

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:30pm

Pay Rate: £30,617 per annum + generous bonus scheme (46 hours per week)

Due to continued growth and expansion we are currently looking to recruit a Parts Advisor to join our business in Altrincham on a permanent basis.

In this role you will be managing customer enquiries at a trade counter and over the phone, processing orders, maintaining stock levels and coordinating deliveries.

We are looking for an organised and customer-focused individual with previous experience within a Parts Department and a passion for delivering excellent service.

This role offers career development with a bonus scheme following a qualifying period.

Key Responsibilities of a Parts Advisor:

• Handling customer enquiries over the phone and at the trade counter
• Processing parts orders and sourcing components through the company’s online catalogue
• Managing and maintaining stock levels
• Coordinating parts deliveries with the service department
• Supporting engineers working on customer sites across the UK
• Ensuring excellent customer service at every stage of the process
• Working closely with colleagues to deliver an efficient and professional parts service

Experience and Skills of a successful Parts Advisor:

• Previous experience within a Parts Department
• Plant machinery parts experience would be advantageous
• Experience within automotive, agricultural, construction equipment, HGV or other mechanical industries would be beneficial
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Organised with good stock management awareness
• Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
• Able to work independently and use your own initiative
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Understanding of stock control and parts obsolescence would be advantageous
