Job Title: Pallet Yard Operative

Location: DN22

Hours: 2:30pm – 1am Monday to Thursday

Pay Rate: £13.21 per hour

Contract: Temporary to Permanent after 12 weeks

Company Overview:

We are recruiting for a busy and growing pallet yard, specialising in manufacturing new pallets and refurbishing used ones. Due to an increase in demand, we are looking for dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Pallet Yard Operatives.

Key Responsibilities:

– Loading and feeding wood onto machines for pallet production.

– Conducting quality checks on pallets to ensure they meet required standards.

– Assisting with the refurbishment of used pallets.

– Ensuring the work area is kept clean and safe at all times.

– Heavy lifting is required at times, so physical fitness is essential.

Requirements:

– A good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the work.

– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

– A keen eye for detail to ensure quality standards are met.

– Experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

– An hourly rate of £13.21

– A temporary to permanent position after 12 weeks.

– Consistent Monday to Thursday schedule, with no weekend work.
