Assembly Operatives needed in Sand Hutton, York!

For this role you must be able to drive or be in a commutable distance of Sand Hutton.

A manufacturer in the medical industry, who are local to Sand Hutton are expanding their assembly and packing department. We’re seeking 4-5 operatives with assembly experience to join the team on a temporary ongoing basis. In this role you’ll be assembling and packing Lateral Flow Devices.

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Thursday 8am-4pm
• Friday 8am-1:30pm
• 37.5 hours per week

Pay:

• £490.50 per week (pre tax)

Main Duties:

• Assembling Lateral flow devices
• Dispensing buffer whilst following designated procedures
• Carrying out kitting procedure for finished products
• Using automated equipment to prepare final product for despatch
• Packaging the lateral flow tests

Candidate Requirements:

• Must have an excellent attention to detail
• Be happy to work in a repetitive role
• Experience working within an assembly environment
• Need to be happy wearing required PPE i.e. white jacket, hair net
