Packing Operative, Rotherham

We are currently recruiting for a Packing Operative to join a company working with the distribution of food packaging. This is located in the S65 area of Rotherham

Key Details:

• Monday to Thursday 9:45pm- 6am, Friday 7:15pm-1:15am
• £12.71 per hour
• Onsite parking
• Immediate start available
• Temp to perm

Duties:

• Operating and overlooking of various machinery
• Completing regular quality checks
• Adhering to health and safety policies
• Completing all relevant paperwork
• Assembling of various products by hand
• General housekeeping duties, as and when required
• Assisting with machine breakdown (flushing and replacing oil, removing of materials, etc)
• Labelling, shrink wrapping and palletising of products ready for despatch
• Feeding products i.e. wooden spoons, discs and lids onto a machine
• Repetitive, fast-paced work
• Standing on feet for long periods
• General housekeeping of work environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a production environment or machine operating would be essential
• Attention to detail and quality checking
• Preferably drive
• No nut policy on site
• Must be able to work rotating shifts
• No makeup, happy to not wear makeup or jewellery
• Happy to adhere to PPE (hair net, overalls, beard snood)
