Order Pickers, Darton
We are currently looking for Experienced Order Pickers to work with our friendly, growing client based in Darton, Barnsley.
You will be joining one of the UKs most successful retail distributors while working towards a long-term career offering huge scope for personal progression.
Key Details:
- NO WEEKENDS!
- Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm & 2pm – 10pm (weekly rotating)
- £11.44 per hour + Picking bonus
- In house FLT training provided after 12 weeks(Counterbalance & Reach)
- Immediate starts available!
- Permanent job role available
Main duties of the job:
- Picking orders using a pick sheet and hand scanners
- Assisting with stock put-away as and when required
- Shrink wrapping orders, palletising and preparing orders for despatch
- Loading and unloading containers as and when required
- Use of a LLOP truck on site (training provided)
- Various other warehouse duties when required
Skills required:
- Previous picking experience will be required
- Physically fit due to the nature of the job role
- The right candidate must have a positive attitude towards learning new skills
- Great attention to detail and the ability to work with hand scanners
- Experience working within a warehouse environment is essential
