Are you an experienced team leader looking for a new challenge? Responsibilities:
- Oversee and analyse daily operational data, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to the Head of Department.
- Strategically manage team schedules, reviewing, authorising, and optimizing holiday requests for efficient workforce planning.
- Monitor and evaluate employee attendance, proactively identifying and addressing patterns of absence while implementing performance-improving solutions.
- Attain a deep understanding of all team roles to effectively optimize workflow and delegate tasks to enhance productivity.
- Proactively support team members during peak demand periods by reallocating resources and streamlining processes.
- Drive professional development by implementing structured training programs and mentoring team members for skill advancement.
- Conduct performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and formulating development plans to enhance job proficiency.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration across departments to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Implement process improvements and align operational strategies with broader business objectives in collaboration with management.
- Ensure strict adherence to corporate policies and compliance regulations, swiftly addressing and escalating any violations as necessary.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement and cross-team collaboration.
- Proven ability to make strategic decisions swiftly and confidently, aligning with company policies and long-term objectives.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to analyse and interpret complex data.
- Extensive experience or knowledge in customs, logistics, or international trade processes is highly advantageous.
- Advanced proficiency in Office 365 and business management software.
- Expertise in compiling and presenting detailed operational reports.
- Ability to uphold and enforce company policies, driving a culture of accountability and compliance.
- Commitment to driving innovation through process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
