Mechanical Fitter – Burton on Trent

Due to recent growth and expansion, we are recruiting Mechanical Fitters for our company based in Burton on Trent. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical assembly work, the ability to work within a small team, and the confidence to follow company quality standards. This role offers excellent rates of pay, progression prospects, and the opportunity to secure a permanent role after 12 weeks.

The Role:

• Installation and repair of mechanical components
• Fault finding and diagnostic investigation work
• Repairing and replacing parts where required
• Using strong mechanical knowledge to complete tasks safely
• Understanding and following engineering drawings
• Supporting warehouse operations including year-end stock take

Skills & Knowledge Required:

• Experience using handheld tools is essential
• Manual dexterity for operating machinery
• Mechanical fitting or assembly experience required

Pay & Hours:

• £13.52 per hour
• Monday to Thursday, 07:30am – 4pm
• Friday, 7.30am – 3pm
• 40 hours per week
