Due to continued expansion, we are currently seeking a Manufacturing Operative with Forklift Reach experience in the Dodworth, Barnsley area.

This role involves weighing and mixing of products, such as liquids, powders & inks and well as warehouse duties like order picking, repacking orders, shrink wrapping, labelling and goods in/out.

The suitable candidate will need to have previous experience working with raw materials or mixing materials to make batch products, as well as warehouse or order picking experience. An in-house or accredited license Reach Forklift license is also required (must be in-date).

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8am – 5.30pm

 

Pay Rate:

  • £14.81 per hour

 

Duties:

  • Weighing and mixing of products (liquid, powders & inks)
  • Order picking of stock from storages
  • Repacking of orders (downsizing of products into containers)
  • Movement of stock & put away of stock using Forklift Reach
  • Decanting stock onto pallets in order for despatch
  • Preparation and packing of orders including stacking, shrink wrapping and labelling
  • Booking both Goods In / Goods Out using internal systems
  • Assisting with general cleaning and upkeep of the factory environment
  • Various other duties when required

 

Skills Required:

  • Previous Warehouse / Order Picking experience would be essential
  • Previous experience working with raw materials or mixing materials to make batch products is essential
  • In-house or accredited license Reach Forklift license required (must be in-date)
  • Ability to work and meet deadlines
  • Candidate must be reliable and have good timekeeping
  • Must have a positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Ability to use own imitative as well as working as part of a team
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Must be physically fit due to nature of the role
