Manufacturing Operative, Rotherham

We are currently on the lookout for hardworking Manufacturing Operatives to join our well-known, friendly and successful client based in the S62 area of Rotherham on a temporary to permanent contract.

Their staff facilities includes a fully equipped kitchen, with added ping pong table, dart board and a free tea and coffee machine.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• Between 7:00am – 3:30pm

Pay Rate:

• £12.91 per hour
• Paid weekly including holiday pay

Contract:

• Temporary to permanent

Duties:

• Prepping and finishing of aluminium profiles
• Prepping raw materials to go into moulds
• Adding metal clips to hold the steel moulds together – may involve using hand tools to secure into place
• Pushing and pulling of moulds into oven to be set
• Use of packing machine to ensure products are secure
• Labelling of products ready for despatch
• Cross-referencing products against pick sheet before despatch
• Candidate must be happy to be trained on side tracker trucks (training provided)
• Candidate would be required to gain knowledge of products

Skills required:

• Would suit someone who has worked previously in a physical labouring role
• Must be okay with being on your feet all day and heavy lifting of steel moulds
• Must be numerate and literate as will be required to check order sheets and complete paperwork
