Maintenance Engineer
Hours: Monday – Friday / 6:00am – 15:18pm & 15:18pm – 23:48pm – Rotating shifts
Salary: £47,000 – £50,000 per annum + opportunities for overtime and bonuses

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis in Castle Donington.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on machinery, equipment and building services.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
- Ensure all equipment operates in line with safety and performance standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders and equipment logs.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and engineering best practice.
- Assist with audits, inspections and risk assessments.
- Conduct mechanical and/or electrical fault finding.
- Work with PLCs, automation systems, hydraulics, pneumatics or CNC equipment (depending on background).
- Use mechanical and electrical diagnostic tools effectively.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Support production teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
- Assist with installation, testing and commissioning of machinery and upgrades.
Experience and Skills:
- Flexible, committed, and confident with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Strong teamwork, enthusiasm and self-motivation.
- PC literate, with good knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and numeracy skills.
- General Maintenance Apprenticeship (desired).
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Level 3 Engineering or Maintenance qualification (essential).
- Strong electro-mechanical aptitude with experience in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic or mechanical systems.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing processes (5S, Kaizen, TPM, AM/PM)
