Part Time Machine Operator, Cawthorne Barnsley

Looking for a machining role with opportunities for progression?

Due to recent growth and expansion, we are looking for a Machine Operator to join an established supplier based in the Cawthorne area of Barnsley, on the part time weekend shift.

In this Machine Operator role you will be working with various plastic extrusion machines, quality checking products, palletising and preparing orders for dispatch.

If you have any prior experience within a Machine Operator, Extrusion Operative, Production Operative or Manufacturing Operative role this would be an advantage, however not essential.

Details and Benefits:

• £15.53 per hour
• Overtime paid at time and a half.
• Saturday & Sunday, 6am-6pm

Duties of a Machine Operator:

• You will be assisting operating various plastic extrusion machines.
• Quality checking products.
• Palletising and tie wrapping orders.
• Preparing orders for dispatch.
• Various other duties as and when required.

Requirements of a Machine Operator:

• Previous machining, production or manufacturing experience advantageous but not essential.
• Must have a positive attitude to work, good attention to detail and the ability to work with various production equipment.
• Must be physically fit as the role requires standing on your feet for long periods of time.
• Must be punctual and willing to learn.
