An established manufacturer in Sheffield are expanding their team and seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join them on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hands-on experience looking for long-term career progression in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

 

Hours & Pay

• Hours: 38 hours per week
• Pay: £13.20 per hour

 

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Thursday: 7am – 15:45pm
• Friday: 7am – 12pm (early finish!)

 

Contract

• Temporary to Permanent opportunity

Duties of a Machine Operator:

• Overseeing machinery operation and ensuring smooth production
• Operating grinding machinery
• Using revolving belts safely and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse environment
• Adhering strictly to health and safety regulations
• Ensuring all machinery is functioning safely and effectively

 

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar manufacturing/production environment – perfect for those who’ve worked as a Machine Operator, Production Operative or Manufacturing Operative.
• Proven experience operating machinery
• A flexible and reliable approach to work
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices
