Machine Operative, Rotherham

A company based in Rotherham are looking for a Machine Operative to join their growing team on a temporary to permanent basis.

The company are a leading provider of packaging solutions for food & consumer goods, beauty & cosmetics, confectionery, food service, tobacco, the pharmaceutical & medical industries and much more.

Due to the company manufacturing food packaging, there is a no nut tolerance on site.

Key Details:

Hours:

• Days and Afters / Weekly rotating

Days:

• Monday to Thursday / 5.45am – 2pm
• Friday / 5.45am – 12.45pm

Afters:

• Monday to Thursday / 1.45pm – 10pm
• Friday / 12.30pm – 7.30pm

Pay Rate:

• £13.60 per hour

Duties:

• Operating and overlooking various machinery
• Assisting with machine breakdown (flushing and replacing oil, removing of materials, etc)
• Labelling, shrink wrapping and palletising of products ready for despatch
• Completing regular quality checks
• Adhering to health and safety policies
• Completing all relevant paperwork
• Assembling various products by hand
• General housekeeping duties as and when required

Skills required:

• Previous experience working within a production environment or machine operation is essential
• Attention to detail is essential for the role
• Candidate must live in the local area or have own transport
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
