Machine Operative – Day Shift

Due to continued expansion, we are currently seeking experienced Manufacturing, Machine Operative to join our small, friendly client in the Barnsley area

Benefits:

• Working for a highly established growing business
• Monday to Thursday, 7am-5:30pm
• Up to £14.49 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
• Permanent contract available after 12 weeks

Duties Include:

• The role will involve the manufacturing of product in a busy, fast paced production environment
• Machine setting & operating (use of automated and manual saws, both CNC and manual routers)
• Feeding, assembling, polishing, crimping, welding, etching, grinding
• Producing final products to the highest of standards
• General housekeeping and various other duties

Skills Required:

• Previous manual machine operating experience (min of 2 years)
• Candidates must be numerate and literate
• Physically fit and experience working within a manual job role
• You must be able to work effectively under your initiative
• Ability to work under pressure meeting deadlines whilst having a keen eye for detail.
• We are looking for strong team players who are hardworking and dedicated
