Kitchen & Bedroom Sales/Design Consultant


Due to expansion within the business, a brand-new opportunity has arisen for a kitchen & Bedroom sales designer consultant to join the team based in Mansfield.


This is a permanent vacancy with immediate interviews available


£17,400- OTE £45,000+

Earn 3% commission on everything sold- including kitchen appliances and installations


Customer Relationship Building & Approval

Meeting & greeting customers, arranging appointments in and outside of working hours, surveying customer property (using our own distinctive survey sheet), assessing and advising customers of the best design based upon their requirements and budget, controlling your customer’s expectations, getting the customer’s approval throughout.


Design, Presentation, Sales, Contract & Closing

To produce high quality 2D and 3D drawings on ArtiCAD for presentation to customers as part of the design and sales processes based upon the data collected on Kitchen World’s survey sheet. Pricing and quoting the job through EasyQuote. Presentations to Customers and agreeing designs and prices in preparation for the Sales Contract. Contract explanation and signature.

Project Contact, Communication & Supervision, Performance Monitoring, Customer Satisfaction and Job Fulfilment

To liaise with Contractors, Sub-Contractors, The Workshop, Builders, Suppliers/representatives etc., to ensure accurate and timely manufacture, delivery and installation of the Customers Project, in order to final progress payment.


The role is retail orientated and will require you to be able to communicate face to face, by telephone, email and letter to the actual end-user/customer, therefore, good communication skills are a prerequisite to the job.

  • Be able to use MS office- outlook and word
  • Experience and ability to use CAD software, (we use Articad) to create three-dimensional plans and artistic impressions of the clients kitchen or bedroom.
  • Experience of or ability to use industry specific quotation software (we use EasyQuote) – Training will be given to the successful candidate


  • Full driving licence and own transport essential – due to client home visits- expenses are paid
  • Have a background selling/designing in Kitchens



Hours of work:

Monday- Friday 40 hours per week,

Please note you will have to work one late night per week, 8pm finish (Tuesday or Thursday)

Occasionally Saturdays 10am-4pm- but you will have a day off mid week to replace this
