Insulation Cutting Operative, Barnsley

A small, well-established company is currently looking for a career-driven Insulation Cutting Operative to join their friendly manufacturing shift team, with immediate starts available.

You will be working towards a long-term career within the manufacturing industry, with permanent contract opportunities and plenty of training along the way to expand your skills.

As an Insulation Cutting Operative, you will be working with raw insulation materials, cutting these materials using stencils and operating different machinery. We’re keen to speak to candidates with experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment. This role would suit candidates working within Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Factory Operative, Machine Operative or Workshop Operative roles within these environments.

Pay Rate:

• £13.37 per hour

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
  • Week 1: 6am – 2:30pm
  • Week 2: 1:30pm – 9:45pm

Contract:

• Temporary to permanent

Duties of an Insulation Cutting Operative:

• Working with raw insulation materials
• Use of different machinery when required
• Cutting insulation materials following a stencil and scraping away any excess
• Various other duties as and when required

Requirements for this Insulation Cutting Operative position:

• Experience in a similar manufacturing or workshop role (i.e. Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Factory Operative, Machine Operative or Workshop Operative)
• Positive attitude to work, great attention to detail and the ability to work with various production equipment once trained
• Ability to meet targets and work to deadlines
