Industrial Hygiene Operative

We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Hygiene Operative to join our client that works with raw meat, located in the S60 area of Rotherham.

Key Details:

• Monday – Friday, 8am – 4.30pm (must be flexible to work weekends if needed)
• £12.71 per hour
• Guaranteed full time hours
• Immediate start available
• Free onsite parking
• Temp to perm role

Duties:

• Movement of stock within the yard
• Recycling of cardboard, plastic and other general waste
• Discarding of unwanted or damaged stock, as and when required
• Working within a refrigerated environment
• Maintaining of the internal factory area to ensure a clean and hygienic working environment
• Replenishing of stock and cleaning products
• Sweeping, high pressure jet washing and mopping of all area’s throughout busy periods
• Lifting of steel trays of up to 30kg
• Deep cleaning and wiping down on various machinery (stripping down machinery if needed)
• Ensuring Health + Safety and Hygiene policies are being followed at all times
• General upkeep of the work area
• Other duties included, as and when required

Requirements:

• Previous experience working within Hygiene / Cleaning would be essential
• Candidate must be physically fit due to the nature of the job role
• Working within a food environment would be advantageous
• Candidate must be reliable and have good timekeeping
• Keen eye for detail is required
• Must be comfortable working within a refrigerated environment
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
