Industrial Cleaner – Part Time, Barnsley

A manufacturing company based in Tankersley, Barnsley are looking for a dedicated Industrial Cleaner to join their busy, friendly team.

This will be a varied role, offering a permanent position for someone looking to build a long-term career.

Day to day, you’ll be cleaning down machines, work surfaces, factory and warehouse floors. This role also includes using power tools as well as some manual handling. Experience in a similar role would be preferred, so if you’ve previously worked as an Industrial Cleaner, we’d be really keen to speak to you.

Pay Rate:

• £12.85 per hour

Hours:

• Saturday and Sunday
• 6am – 2pm

Contract:

• Temp to perm

Main duties of an Industrial Cleaner:

• Industrial cleaning, cleaning down machines, work surfaces, factory and warehouse floors
• Manual handling of machine panels
• Screwing and unscrewing bolts
• Use of power tools
• Working with cleaning products
• Other industrial duties when required

Skills Required:

• Experience in industrial cleaning would be preferred
• Full training will be provided for the right candidate
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and machinery would be a benefit
• Strong attention to detail and focus on quality
• Good physical fitness for manual handling and lifting
• Ability to work well in a team and use own initiative
